Victorian Bloomers Ruffle Leg Pantaloons . Here we have a lovely pair of Victorian ( 1890s-1900) Bloomers / Pantaloons.
The step ins are made of of a thin white cotton and they have a closed crotch . The waistband in front is thin , they have an opening on both hips with mother of pearl buttons. The back waistband is wider and has a drawstring.
The bloomers are roomy in seat and hips, they have beautiful ruffled legs that are embroidered and with scalloped hemline that are all hand stitched .
The condition is good , very wearable . They do have a couple of small holes, wear on one buttonhole and a small seam separation in crotch ( see pics) .
The pantaloons were measured across and doubled , laid flat : 32″ waist ( can be cinched 2″ smaller)/ 48″ hips/ 28″ around thigh ( just above ruffle)/ 23″ length/ 17″ rise .
